Review: Tattered Love

Image
Tattered Love by Lola Stark My rating: 3 of 5 stars This book started out really good, then it went along fast like we missed a few chapters, then it got stupid, then it got good again. I liked both Scar and Mace. I connected more with Mace because we got more of his backstory than Scarlet. I enjoyed the fun moments they had, then got tired of Mace keep calling her babe all the time and the randomness of Janelle. This is where it got stupid. Mace and Scar kept breaking up, Mace left her to protect her from dumb Janelle, which I don't see making sense. If you wanted to protect her you STAY with her and keep her safe, but nope, the sexy motherfucker ran. His grovelling was hilarious though, I liked that part of the book. The fact that Mace knew who it was and before he called the cops to get them to pick up crazy ass Janelle and be done with this book, it stretched until we got to the end. It wasn't a bad book, and it kept sucking you in. I...

Review: Take Me On

Take Me On by Cherrie Lynn My rating: 2 of 5 stars This.......was a really dumb read. This chick is pushing forty and her rich family is paying for EVERYTHING. She didn't have her own life. Her parents still treated her like a teen and not an adult PUSHING FORTY. Ian was a whimp. I didn't mind the age difference, but he still acted like he was afraid of Gabby unless it was with sex. Everything happened so fast. I'm sure if there wasn't a kid, these two would have never ended up together. I felt no chemistry with these two. Gabby never even acted her age either. And how is she pushing 40 and still in fucking med school ?? Unless she was a nurse all this time and now decided to be a doctor. I guess that was it because I skimmed this book a lot and got bored with all the love scenes and the repetitions. Since I really don't care about Starla and the Rosses are pretty much over, I think I'm done with this series until she decides ...

Review: Breathe Me In

Image
Breathe Me In by Cherrie Lynn My rating: 3 of 5 stars I really do hate Cherrie's female characters. I think the only one tolerable were Kara and Starla and Samantha. I just can't with Macy and Candace. These two are just annoying, indecisive, whiny and just plain old not likable. I love her males. Ghost was awesome. I was drawn to him almost immediately from Brian's story. This book told us what happened in the back of Ghost's car with him and Macy. Honestly I think these guys can do way better than these annoying chicks. It was a quick, sexy read. At this point the hot scenes are what's holding my attention at this point. View all my reviews

Review: Light Me Up

Light Me Up by Cherrie Lynn My rating: 3 of 5 stars Still not a fan of Candace, but this was a fun and sexy way to end it all. They way Brian proposed was so "aww" I love him!!!! I think she could have done better but what the hell. At least everyone is getting along now. View all my reviews
