Review: Branna

This book was great So great that I devoured it in one sitting. It was the cutest and I'm glad we finally get a Slater book where nobody was kidnapped. This picked up a few months after Branna was kidnapped. She and Ryder finally get their honeymoon. A mishap happens which resulted in some surprsing news about Branna's pregnancy. I won't ruin it for anyone, but man was this book worth the wait. I enjoyed catching up with the other brothers and their girls. The ending was great too because I want Allanah and Damien more than ever now. That bombshell that she dropped on him, holy cow. Shit is about to hit the fan. This story was short and so much fun. Bee and Dom and still savage as ever and Alec is still his sexy self. I NEED MORE!!!

The Resolution of Callie & Kayden by Jessica Sorensen My rating: 3 of 5 stars Well they finally got their happy ending. These two went through so much shit before they got to this point. Some points I wasn't happy with: Callie ran into Caleb at the store and then he was arrested. I fell like not much justice was given there. I wanted Caleb to explain why he did all that crap. I wanted a better confrontation where Caleb would feel ashamed or at least more emotions, but it was handled too quickly and wishy washy. Another one was the death of Kayden's father. We as the reader didn't get much closure from that. He just immediately died, there wasn't much explanation as to how he ended up like that, no explanation from the father as to why he was the way he is, no sorry's, the mother was still a complete bitch and was with the father until the end. Love, Chocolate, and Beer by Violet Duke My rating: 4 of 5 stars So, this book came up in my Amazon recommendations and saw it had a bunch of good ratings and decided to check it out. Violet Duke has found a new fan in me. I really enjoyed this book. This is what true love is all about. I connected with Luke and Dani from the prequel and just fell in love with them. Their bickering and interplay were so funny. The sexual tension was so strong with these two. Even I was feeling what Luke was feeling on those five pre-dates. The 17 Valentines Day gifts Luke did for Dani was so damn romantic, I was "awwing" through the whole thing. The things Luke did for Dani....ack. I love him so much. Anyways let's get to the nitty gritty. So Dani did something really stupid in the prequel that followed her throughout this story. It pissed me off because if these two would have just communicated with each other, so much of this could have been avoided. ...
