Review: Her Destiny
Her Destiny by Monica Murphy
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Eh, this was a bad as the first. This was more from Reverie's point of view and oh my god was she whiny. There was simply no character development with her. Her brother though had some. He went from the entitled asshole, to the best big brother finally giving a shit about Rev. The writer destroyed Nick for me in this one. I liked him in the first one, but here she made him a complete love sick wuss. This conclusion was unrealistic AF!!! So it picks up months after the murder, they still haven't found the culprit. Everyone is looking at Nick for obvious reasons. Rev was his alibi, but the dumbass refused to use her so he wouldn't ruin her reputation. All I'm thinking is did this dumbass not watch the news? It's already ruined. Her parents are frauds!!! Anyways, they do this whole tug of war, I love you, I love you not, you're bad for me bla bla bla. Then there is this random twist, the killer is revealed then BOOM! Two 17 year olds live happily ever after and plan on getting an apartment together in....what was i, San Diego? L.A? One of those places. Yea, that's not how it works, that's not how any of this works. It ended as quick as it started. Bah.
