Review: Heart of the Billionaire ~ Sam

Image
Heart of the Billionaire ~ Sam by J.S. Scott My rating: 4 of 5 stars Sigh, man this was a beautiful book. I knew I would love Sam and MAddie's story. Some surprises were uncovered and secrets were told. Sam's was heartbreaking. My poor baby. These guys never stopped loving each other even after all these years. I love how the writer makes me want to believe in true love. She writes with so much passion. Kara and Simon are still my favorite couple but these two are a close second. I also love that the females in these stories aren't doormats and don't take shit from these alpha males. It was a fun, cute and sexy read. Holy crap, how do these guys find the stamina!!! Well onto Max's story. Yay! View all my reviews

Review: Mine Forever ~ Simon

Mine Forever ~ Simon by J.S. Scott My rating: 4 of 5 stars Eeep, and they lived happily ever after. We've reach the end of Simon and Kara's love journey. He finally trusted her completely and told her the secret about his scar. Our gruff bear opened up and found is one true love. I loved these two and are going to miss them. I hope they make a cameo in Sam's book and I hope we get babies!!!! So glad Goodreads recommended me to this writer. View all my reviews

Review: About a Vampire

About a Vampire by Lynsay Sands My rating: 3 of 5 stars Hmm, so I love Lynsay sands. I love all the Argenaus. I've waited for Justin's book for so long now and was mildly disappointed with this one. We all remember Bricker is a funny, pain in the ass rogue hunter that gave each of the guys hell. I fell in love instantly with him when he first appeared and was anxiously waiting for him to get his story. When this book finally came, I was so excited I was dizzy, but when I started getting into the story, I couldn't believe it. First off, I didn't like Holly. I had no connection with her. Not much character development with her either that would make me like her either. We already knew about Bricker, so his character flowed so easily. Next, she was married, I mean, I was hopping Bricker would get a challenge when he finally met his Life mate because we all know he was kind of a slut, but this was ridiculous. The rule with the Immortals i...

Review: Nikolai, Volume 2

Nikolai, Volume 2 by Roxie Rivera My rating: 3 of 5 stars This was a chaotic book. I took so long to finish it because I had to take a break from it. It lost me there during the first part, because it was basically a rewrite of all the other books, just from Kolya's and Vee's point of view. I enjoyed though the parts where we get to see how it wasn't always peaches and cream with this marriage. It was so tremulous to the point I was thinking, RUN VEE RUN!! They didn't belong together, but coming onto the end and the way Kolya apologized for being such a dick and how they made up brought tears to my eyes. I mean, every time you think they would be happy so damn problem would resurfaced. I loved Ten. I hope he gets a book. The grandfathers grew on me because we knew at the end of the day they were there for their kids and grandson. The end was the same as Sergei's book, so that was kind of ho hum. I'm glad this group of friends ...

Review: Love, Chocolate, and Beer

Love, Chocolate, and Beer by Violet Duke My rating: 4 of 5 stars So, this book came up in my Amazon recommendations and saw it had a bunch of good ratings and decided to check it out. Violet Duke has found a new fan in me. I really enjoyed this book. This is what true love is all about. I connected with Luke and Dani from the prequel and just fell in love with them. Their bickering and interplay were so funny. The sexual tension was so strong with these two. Even I was feeling what Luke was feeling on those five pre-dates. The 17 Valentines Day gifts Luke did for Dani was so damn romantic, I was "awwing" through the whole thing. The things Luke did for Dani....ack. I love him so much. Anyways let's get to the nitty gritty. So Dani did something really stupid in the prequel that followed her throughout this story. It pissed me off because if these two would have just communicated with each other, so much of this could have been avoided. ...
