Review: Nikolai, Volume 2

Nikolai, Volume 2 Nikolai, Volume 2 by Roxie Rivera
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This was a chaotic book. I took so long to finish it because I had to take a break from it. It lost me there during the first part, because it was basically a rewrite of all the other books, just from Kolya's and Vee's point of view. I enjoyed though the parts where we get to see how it wasn't always peaches and cream with this marriage. It was so tremulous to the point I was thinking, RUN VEE RUN!! They didn't belong together, but coming onto the end and the way Kolya apologized for being such a dick and how they made up brought tears to my eyes. I mean, every time you think they would be happy so damn problem would resurfaced. I loved Ten. I hope he gets a book. The grandfathers grew on me because we knew at the end of the day they were there for their kids and grandson. The end was the same as Sergei's book, so that was kind of ho hum. I'm glad this group of friends got their happy ending. I would also love a spin off with the babies. All in all, a fun, romantic read with a hell of a lot of angst and mayhem.
