Review: The Magical Christmas Cat

Image
The Magical Christmas Cat by Lora Leigh My rating: 3 of 5 stars Only read this for the Lora Leigh story and wasn't disappointed. They finally found the traitor and I predicted it was Aalyia because I didn't care much for her. I liked Hayley, she was adorable and Noble wasn't too shabby either. The sex scenes were so damn hot and this was a nice Christmas read. View all my reviews

Review: Storm of Visions

Image
Storm of Visions by Christina Dodd My rating: 2 of 5 stars I didn't like this at all. It started off really strong in the first few chapters, then it just lost me. I got bored and they pretty much killed off the character I like dthe most. I didn't connect with Jacqueline and Caleb and we didn't get much background or buil dup with them. I skimmed this book. I'm just glad Alex from Darkness Chosen is a cameo in this series. View all my reviews

Review: Touch of Darkness

Image
Touch of Darkness by Christina Dodd My rating: 3 of 5 stars Eh, I remember reading this book back when I was 16 and thought it was SO good. Rereading now at 26 and I'm thinking, what the hell was I thinking? The story just draggggedd. It wasn't that interesting but I did liked the humor. I didn't feel any real connection with Tasya and Rurik. It would have been fun if we got a little backstory of how they met and what not, but the writer just thrusted us into their relationship. Tasya is connected to the Varinski's but in a terrible way. The paranormal aspect of this story wasn't that great either. I'll only continue reading because I'm curious as to how it will end and who Firebird's baby daddy is. View all my reviews

Review: Inspiring You

Image
Inspiring You by Jessica Sorensen My rating: 3 of 5 stars Eh, I felt like we were robbed of an ending and this wasn't completed. This felt rushed. I'm glad Ayden and Lyric got thier happy ending, but it felt like the author was running out of time. The thing with his father was very anti-climatic, same with Sadie. Ugh and when they finally had sex, it was all that great like Ella and Micah. I was expecting mind blowing after all that seaxual tension from the other books. This one was way too short for me but I still enjoyed it. I hope we get more from this family when Ayden and Lyric grow up like we did with their parents and I want more with Sadie to see what she has been through. View all my reviews

Review: Awakening You

Image
Awakening You by Jessica Sorensen My rating: 3 of 5 stars Ugh, nothing happens either in this one. The sexual tension is so thick you can cut it with a knife. They still haven't answered any more questions about the cult thing, but we learn a few tid bits about Ayden. Looks like his biological father was apart of it. I still enjoy Lyric's character as to how she sticks by Ayden and has his back, but for god sake girl, rape him or something. I need to see these two get laid!! So the finally book is here. Maybe we can finally get some answers because the suspense is freaking killing me. View all my reviews

Review: Raveling You

Image
Raveling You by Jessica Sorensen My rating: 3 of 5 stars Not much happened in this one. Ayden and Lyric explore their relationship and came to terms that they ARE in one. Lyric is SO her father in this series and I love it. This story is basically a rewrite of her parents but with a cult and finally the female character being the strong one. Lyric overcame her fear of singing in public and Ayden is getting closere to unlocking his memories and finding his sister. I really do enjoy these two together though. This story just drags you in man. I'm just patiently waiting for when these two finally hook up though. It's killing me!!!! View all my reviews

Review: Runaway Vampire

Image
Runaway Vampire by Lynsay Sands My rating: 4 of 5 stars This book was so funny. I liked Mary a lot. I see the female characters of Lynsay,'s books are finally getting a better handle on becoming Immortal. Mary took this like a champ and it cracked me up. I liked the banter between her and Dante especially that condom scene. Justin Bricker made his crazy cameo. I LOVE that guy. Well not much didn't really happen, just the usual, Dante gets kidnap with his twin, he escapes, twin doesn't so on his journey to get help he literally crashes into Mary and gets run over. He realizes she is his life-mate, they get chase by bad guys and crash. Mary is on the brink of death and gets turned. That's just about it, the story focuses on Dante and Mary coming to terms with their love and situation and Mary coming to terms with realizing there are more things out there than dwelling on being old and pining after her dead, cheating, asshole of a husban...
