Review: Rock Me

Image
Rock Me by Cherrie Lynn My rating: 3 of 5 stars I liked this only for Brian. He was adorable, raunchy and sexy. He basically changed everything for Candace while she stood there being the whiny bitch that she was. She flat out told the guy it was just them forever. But when shit got rough, she ran countless times from him. I /m shocked Brian didn't just go "Fuck this shit bitch!" But you know, he was in lurrvee...bleh. Well the story was funny and sexy. Got bored of the sex scenes after a while. They weren't as creative as Evan's though. I hated Candace's parents and wanted some sort of retribution for Brian, but meh, he put it all behind for that loser. All in all good book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. View all my reviews

Review: Fighting Silence

Image
Fighting Silence by Aly Martinez My rating: 5 of 5 stars Oh god. So this book happened. I have never cried, laughed or felt hot and bothered at the same time over a book until this one. This was so beautiful and I read it in one setting. I couldn't put it down. Till, oh gosh Till. I love that guy. My new book boyfriend. Watching his struggle with poverty and his illness. Then him finding his one ray of sunlight in Eliza, I was bawling from the time he climbed through that window into that abandoned apartment. I loved watching the transition from best friends to lovers with these two. I loved Eliza to bits, the way she fought for her man and loved him even though Till tried to keep her away. This is a love I want. Quarry and Flint. I love those little bastards and oh god Flint, I cried at the end. I couldn't believe it. I'm so glad Eliza and Till got their happy ending. This story was so relatable and showing just what a beautiful heart Ti...

Review: Unleashed

Image
Unleashed by Cherrie Lynn My rating: 3 of 5 stars This was a cute, fun, sexy and I mean SEXY read. Man these guys went at it like bunnies. I'm glad they found time to eat. This is a classic tail of best friends becoming lovers. The whole will he won't she scenario that I love. I found what's her face......Kelsey! Right, I found her moody at times and whiny but she turned out for the better. Loved Evan though, he was mmfphh!!! But Brian is the one who held my interest. I'm really curious about that tatted and pierced up deliciousness. View all my reviews

Review: Shame on Him

Image
Shame on Him by Tara Sivec My rating: 3 of 5 stars The final in the series. Another funny, quick, sexy romance. I enjoyed the bickering between Lorelei and Dallas. They went from enemies to lovers real quick though. Stephanie was hella fuuny too. View all my reviews

Review: Sweet Hope

Image
Sweet Hope by Tillie Cole My rating: 5 of 5 stars Another wonderful book from Tille. This one had me bawling even more. So sorry that this great series has come to an end. Everyone got their happy ending and it was amazing. So it's quite obvious who ended up with Ally. I loved him. He was such a tortured soul. All he wanted to do was protect his brothers and provide for him mama. Tille writes with such heart that while reading this I went and just gave my mum a hug. Ally is awesome. She's sweet, funny and has that fiery Latino blood LOL. This book was fantastic and the epilogue and Bonus Chapter was the best thing. I couldn't stop crying reading this and I just felt like I was apart of this family. They all went through so much to finally get to this end. This will forever be my favorite series. Review: Sweet Fall

Image
Sweet Fall by Tillie Cole My rating: 5 of 5 stars Oh, this book was beautiful. Tillie wrecked me with this one. I was crying through this whole story. I loved Austin so much. Through all the bullshit he was handed, he came out on top with his Pixie. Lexi broke my heart. I just wanted to hug her.I'm so glad these two found each other and were strong together. So many scenes in this book sent me to tears especially with the death of Austin's mama. This story was so beautifully written and it tackled the issue of anorexia so well. I'm loving this series so much. View all my reviews

Review: Sweet Rome

Image
Sweet Rome by Tillie Cole My rating: 4 of 5 stars The POV from Rome's this time but the last few pages were the sequel. I loved, laughed and cried again. I enjoy Tillie's writing. She does it with so much heart. So glad these two got their happy ending and their big family. View all my reviews

Review: Sweet Home

Image
Sweet Home by Tillie Cole My rating: 4 of 5 stars Oh gosh this book was so beautiful, I didn't want it to end. I loved everything about it. From the story to the characters. This reminded me of a sweet rom-com that I can see myself watching over and over. I loved Molly. A cute plucky Brit who had a rough life and found her home. And Rome, who had an EXCEPTIONALLY hard life and over came it with Molly and found his heart. This book made me laugh, cry, laugh and cry some more. The end was so heart breaking with (view spoiler) [ the death of their baby (hide spoiler) ] and when Molly ran. God these two went through A LOT before they could be together. Rome has parents from hell, who I was hoping would have been killed off or something and then throw mean girl Shelly into the mix. Gah. But all's well that ends well and Romeo lived happily ever after with his Juliet. This was a great love story. View all my reviews

Review: Ella and Micha: Infinitely and Always

Image
Ella and Micha: Infinitely and Always by Jessica Sorensen My rating: 4 of 5 stars Yay, now we have our ending, ending. Five years later these two are still strong, but Ella being her, still has doubts when she finds out she's pregnant. We have the usual Ella going crazy with worry, not talking to anyone until the last minute but finally overcoming and being happy. Micah is still the most beautiful and patient man ever. Ethan finally tied the knot with Lila and we are getting baby Lyric. Finally this love story as come to a close and they all live happily ever after. Off to read the spin off book which belongs to E&M's daughter and E&L's son. View all my reviews

Review: Lila and Ethan: Forever and Always

Image
Lila and Ethan: Forever and Always by Jessica Sorensen My rating: 2 of 5 stars Meh, don't really care for Ethan and Lila. Never liked them so I just skimmed this book. Was okay, I guess these two also found their happy ending. But gosh Ethan is the female equivalent of Ella. Geez. View all my reviews

Review: Suddenly One Summer

Image
Suddenly One Summer by Julie James My rating: 2 of 5 stars I usually love this series, but this book was a miss for me. It was tedious. I honestly skimmed through this whole book. I only read any interactions Victoria and Ford had. I liked Ford. He and his best friends were fun. I didn't really care for Victoria or her issues because it didn't really hold my interest, but I did enjoy her snarky and sarcastic banter with Ford. I enjoyed Nicole too. The plot was boring, it just felt like the story dragged, also didn't care about finding Zoe's dad. This wasn't the usual Julie James I'm used to. Sorry. View all my reviews

Review: Crime & Cake

Image
Crime & Cake by N.M. Silber My rating: 2 of 5 stars I don't know what the heck I just read, but the last bit was pretty frigging funny. SO this was Matt's book from Night Court. He fell for Sarah who at the beginning jumped out a cake. After rowing out of a drug raid, hurting her ankle and meeting Matt, these two had a Gabby and Braden moment where they eye fuck each other in court and get turn on while battling it out in front the judge. I guess they fell in love. This was quick and I mean a QUICK read. View all my reviews

Review: Nightmare in Night Court

Image
Nightmare in Night Court by N.M. Silber My rating: 3 of 5 stars Well, that was an uh, interesting read. It was insanely funny. I still love Gabby and Braden though. Yay finally they are having babies. But I swear I remember her being pregnant in Jess and Cam's story. Huh. View all my reviews

Review: Legal-i-Tease

Image
Legal-i-Tease by N.M. Silber My rating: 3 of 5 stars Very SHORT, very fun read of Adam and Lily's honeymoon trip. I REALLY enjoyed the in flight instructions from the two flight attendants. "Time to figure out which child you love more parents" I died! LOL View all my reviews

Review: Rebel Ink

Image
Rebel Ink by Laura Wright My rating: 3 of 5 stars Was waiting ages for this book, and by the end I became kind of disappointed. Wasn't all that cracked up to be. I hate Vincent, still hate him, but we got deeper into him and learned why he's so fucked up. All thanks to Lisa. Addy and Rush are still my favorite couple though. I just hate that these books are so short. Let's hope the next one is better than this. View all my reviews

Review: The Score

Image
The Score by Elle Kennedy My rating: 5 of 5 stars So THIS is my favorite book out of this series. I'm sorry Garrett, but Dean and Allie stole it!!! This book was hilarious. Dean and Allie together are so funny. Him with his cocky but lovable attitude and Allie and her goofy and snarky self. I'm still laughing at them "Little Dean" and "Winston". The scene where Logan walks in the bathroom and Dean was holding Winston had me in stitches. It also made me ball like a baby. I couldn't believe about Beau. I was really looking forward to getting his book. I couldn't believe Elle did that to us. He was one of my favorite characters. Why not Sabrina?? HUH?? HUH?? Speaking of that bitch, Tucker, you gots some explaining to do. Can't wait for his book. I was hoping it turned out he was gay, but holy crap that ending threw me for a curve ball. But yes, this book was it. The whore has been tamed ya'll and all it took w...

Review: The Mistake

Image
The Mistake by Elle Kennedy My rating: 4 of 5 stars Yep, this one definitely surprised me. I thought I was going to hate it because I got tired of Logan pining after Hannah. But then when we settled into the story, I couldn't help fall for the big lug. He broke my heart throughout the book because of all the crap his stupid father put him through. I wanted to hug the crap out of him. So yes, remember the best friend of Garrett and second manwhore of the house Logan from The Deal? Well this is his book. As I said Logan was complex, you couldn't help but hate him at the beginning and just think "meh he's gonna be one of THOSE whorey guys" but crap did Elle do a 180 with Logan's character. He went from the ass to the most romantic guy I've ever read about. :D Who knew? The writer always surprises me when it comes to her males. So Logan is going down this dark path until he meets his light Grace. She was my next Hannah. I LO...

Review: The Deal

Image
The Deal by Elle Kennedy My rating: 5 of 5 stars I LOVED , LOVED, LOVED this book. See this is why Elle Kennedy is an automatic buy whenever I see her books. I love her characters. They are so likable, funny and I love how she writes her heroines. These tough, sarcastic girls that don't take shit from their men. Garret was the total package and I fell for him instantly. Hannah was my girl. What's great about Elle's book, she doesn't take the usual hero fucked up so has to go all out to win her back, nope Hannah fucks up here and has to win back Garrett and he does it in the most adorable although messed up way imaginable that just had me cracking up. There was never a dull moment in this story. It never veered off track and kept you sucked in until the end. I mean, I lost sleep last night over this book. All the side characters were awesome too, I enjoyed reading about Garrett's hockey team brothers. This book also tackled some se...

Review: Frenched: The Wedding Night

Image
Frenched: The Wedding Night by Melanie Harlow My rating: 4 of 5 stars These two monkeys are finally married and their wedding night was amazing. I'm in love with Lucas again. I still can't get over the little nerd is a sex freak. LOL Will miss them. View all my reviews

Review: Forked

Image
Forked by Melanie Harlow My rating: 3 of 5 stars Eh, wasn't that eventful. I liked Coco from Mia's book, but then reading about her, I didn't feel like we had to READ about her. We could have easily watched her fell in love in the background. Anyways, I did like Nick, but you would never believe Coco was twenty-eight. She acted so childish in here. Especially the part where she thought she was pregnant. Was she always this stupid? I did like when she and Nick were together though. He's so hot and the sex scenes were FIRE! What pissed me off was in Mia's book, Coco kept giving her sound advice, but yet Coco didn't take her own and acted like a damn child. But it was fun watching Nick win her back though. Funny and sexy read. Best part was Mia and Lucas' wedding. Awww, he cried!!! Anyways onto Erin's story. SPOILER though, if you haven't read her Speak Now series, this book basically gives it away that Tiny and Joey ...

Review: Yanked

Image
Yanked by Melanie Harlow My rating: 3 of 5 stars So this book ruined Lucas for me. Mind you he's still my hot little freak, but his personality at the beginning sucked. I hated what he did to Mia about Jessica and then his explanation was bullshit. Jessica was a bitch and didn't understand the meaning of over. Mia forgave him too easily. She should have left and made him chase her back to Detroit. But Lucas has this super dick that she can't seem to shake. But I'm glad towards the end he came to his senses and saw what he had in Mia. That angry sex/shower sex scene, whew, so damn hot. Anyways this was still a cute funny read either way, just Lucas' hotness went down a notch. View all my reviews

Review: Frenched

Image
Frenched by Melanie Harlow My rating: 4 of 5 stars Wow, this book was so cute. I enjoyed reading about Lucas and Mia. I especially loved Lucas. OH MY GOD who would have thought the nerdy psych professor/musician was a bloody sex fiend? Holy crap he went in on Mia. Dude is a closet freak!!! I loved Mia too, although she was anal with her lists she was still a fun character to read. I loved being inside her head. This book was so sexy, all these guys did was walk, drink, eat and fuck. LOL. If you are into insta-love and I mean instant. These guys fell in love in about two days of meeting each other, lists and have a dirty sense of humor, then this is the book for you. Lucas' letter had me cracking up at the end. It ends on hind of a cliffhanger, so I really hope everything works out for these two back in New York. I really need to go to Pars now. :) View all my reviews

Review: Aideen

Image
Aideen by L.A. Casey My rating: 5 of 5 stars Another one that will become a favorite of mine. We finally get to see the Slater baby. Welcome little Jax. Now there will be the first Slater baby girl, yay!. This story was so cute and funny. Emotional even when Aideen had to put Kane in his place. It's nice to see Bee is finally calm and nice now, she and Nico don't fight and bicker as much. They are growing, I like it. Alec is still a fucking man child but hilariously so. But my heart is breaking for my two favorite eldest. I hope Branna and Ryder work their shit out. I can't lose them. This story had a lot of heart, but I still hate the fact we still didn't get any closure with Big Phil. What the hell is going on with that? Also Damien and Alannah, sigh those two are getting on my nerves and need to put up or shut up. Came a long way with this series. Started out hating it, but as we grew with the characters and their family dynamic, y...

Review: KANE

Image
KANE by L.A. Casey My rating: 5 of 5 stars Hah, so this is the only book that got a full rating form me. I loved everything about this story. Kane is the sweetest out of all the brothers next to Damien of course and I instantly fell in love with him from the beginning. This book didn't disappoint. We got a more inside look about Kane and his demons. My poor baby. I still hate the female characters in this series. Why does Ms. Casey portray her women like this? Is this really how Irish women are? because she's just making me not like them much. I love a strong woman but these girls are abrasive, mean, aggressive, always cursing out the guys or beating them. Especially Bee, I mean after all this she is still a bitch to Dom.Also, the writing didn't get any better, still a bunch of errors, typo not including the Irish dialect. The story is still good though. She writes her women so immature and sometimes you forget these bunch of bitches are ...

Review: ALEC

Image
ALEC by L.A. Casey My rating: 4 of 5 stars Ugh, honestly these books are like crack. I really want to stop because I hate every single character but dammit I can't because I'm starting to love their asses. This one was no different. I fucking HATE Alec. This arrogant, egotistical former male escort who thinks he's God's gift to women. But then we started learning more about him and you can't help but start to love him. I started falling under his spell. Keela now, well she started off annoying as fuck. I couldn't stand her. Why does the author write her women so damn overbearing and bitchy? But later on when she finally stop being a fucking doormat, she became likable. I was all for this book until Alec up and cheated on her. I said fuck this noise after that. This should have just ended with them parting ways. So what he had no choice. Alec could have still said no, confront Keela, she would have confronted her Uncle and all ...

Review: BRONAGH

Image
BRONAGH by L.A. Casey My rating: 4 of 5 stars So three years have passed and these two knuckle heads are still going strong. Today is Bee's birthday and Dom had this whole thing plan. I LOVED the "100 reasons why I love you" book. I thought by the end of story he was going to break up with her because Dominic was acting hella weird. So this had the usual fights, cussing, bickering but this time Bronagh was the bitch in this story. Everything Dom did she picked a damn fight with him. Bowling? fight. Zoo? fight. Rock climbing? fight. Even at the fucking club they fought. So Dom finally couldn't take it anymore and they had this big blow up. Only because Bee finally wants a baby, which is a serious thing and Dom finally wants her to grow the fuck up. I mean, he went to college and has his own fitness training business now while Bee is just home doing nothing and picking fights when he comes home form work or they just fuck all the time...

Review: Never Been Nerdy

Image
Never Been Nerdy by C.M. Kars My rating: 1 of 5 stars Didn't finish. Can't stand Katie or Tommy. Dean needs a do over with another woman and the writer must be insane if she actually let this fly. Mean girls do not deserve happy endings. Poor Dean. View all my reviews

Review: Never Been Kissed

Image
Never Been Kissed by C.M. Kars My rating: 3 of 5 stars I have a love/hate relationship with this book. Loved the story. It was touching, beautiful, loving and Matty is the kid everyone wants. He was simply put, the most adorable child ever written in a book. The hate spawns with these other characters, the leads. I HATED them. Sera, girl my goodness love yourself? She's this awesome nerd that is very relatable to me because she's basically me, but bitch, damn....LOVE>>>YOUR>>>>SELF!!! The amount of self hate this girl had for herself, then had the balls to think if Hunter can't love himself she can't love him. -__- HEFFER?!! siGh. She keeps saying, she's too ugly, she's too fat, she's not lovable. Her monologues became annoying FAST! Also, all the TV references became old fast too. I love a person who respects the Hiddleston and can watch Dean Winchester all day, but damn girl have normal conversations...
