Another one that will become a favorite of mine. We finally get to see the Slater baby. Welcome little Jax. Now there will be the first Slater baby girl, yay!. This story was so cute and funny. Emotional even when Aideen had to put Kane in his place. It's nice to see Bee is finally calm and nice now, she and Nico don't fight and bicker as much. They are growing, I like it. Alec is still a fucking man child but hilariously so. But my heart is breaking for my two favorite eldest. I hope Branna and Ryder work their shit out. I can't lose them. This story had a lot of heart, but I still hate the fact we still didn't get any closure with Big Phil. What the hell is going on with that? Also Damien and Alannah, sigh those two are getting on my nerves and need to put up or shut up. Came a long way with this series. Started out hating it, but as we grew with the characters and their family dynamic, you learn to love them. I still hate how she portrays the females of this series, but eh, whatcha gonna do.

The Resolution of Callie & Kayden by Jessica Sorensen My rating: 3 of 5 stars Well they finally got their happy ending. These two went through so much shit before they got to this point. Some points I wasn't happy with: Callie ran into Caleb at the store and then he was arrested. I fell like not much justice was given there. I wanted Caleb to explain why he did all that crap. I wanted a better confrontation where Caleb would feel ashamed or at least more emotions, but it was handled too quickly and wishy washy. Another one was the death of Kayden's father. We as the reader didn't get much closure from that. He just immediately died, there wasn't much explanation as to how he ended up like that, no explanation from the father as to why he was the way he is, no sorry's, the mother was still a complete bitch and was with the father until the end. Love, Chocolate, and Beer by Violet Duke My rating: 4 of 5 stars So, this book came up in my Amazon recommendations and saw it had a bunch of good ratings and decided to check it out. Violet Duke has found a new fan in me. I really enjoyed this book. This is what true love is all about. I connected with Luke and Dani from the prequel and just fell in love with them. Their bickering and interplay were so funny. The sexual tension was so strong with these two. Even I was feeling what Luke was feeling on those five pre-dates. The 17 Valentines Day gifts Luke did for Dani was so damn romantic, I was "awwing" through the whole thing. The things Luke did for Dani....ack. I love him so much. Anyways let's get to the nitty gritty. So Dani did something really stupid in the prequel that followed her throughout this story. It pissed me off because if these two would have just communicated with each other, so much of this could have been avoided. ...
