Review: The Mistake

The Mistake The Mistake by Elle Kennedy
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Yep, this one definitely surprised me. I thought I was going to hate it because I got tired of Logan pining after Hannah. But then when we settled into the story, I couldn't help fall for the big lug. He broke my heart throughout the book because of all the crap his stupid father put him through. I wanted to hug the crap out of him. So yes, remember the best friend of Garrett and second manwhore of the house Logan from The Deal? Well this is his book. As I said Logan was complex, you couldn't help but hate him at the beginning and just think "meh he's gonna be one of THOSE whorey guys" but crap did Elle do a 180 with Logan's character. He went from the ass to the most romantic guy I've ever read about. :D Who knew? The writer always surprises me when it comes to her males. So Logan is going down this dark path until he meets his light Grace. She was my next Hannah. I LOVED her. She starts out as this innocent doormat, but as I said, Elle always does this 180 with her characters and Grace is this snarky, sarcastic, babbling and hilariously adorable woman. Her romantic gestures lists she gave Logan to do had me in stitches. As per usual I loved all the side characters except for Dean and Ramona, but I'm sure Elle is going to change my mind about Dean. Anyways, this was a fun, sexy, romantic romp with a great happy ending. I hope we get a novella with how all these guys are doing in the end. Now off to see who the hell will tame this whore Dean.
