Review: Fighting Silence
Fighting Silence by Aly Martinez
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Oh god. So this book happened. I have never cried, laughed or felt hot and bothered at the same time over a book until this one. This was so beautiful and I read it in one setting. I couldn't put it down. Till, oh gosh Till. I love that guy. My new book boyfriend. Watching his struggle with poverty and his illness. Then him finding his one ray of sunlight in Eliza, I was bawling from the time he climbed through that window into that abandoned apartment. I loved watching the transition from best friends to lovers with these two. I loved Eliza to bits, the way she fought for her man and loved him even though Till tried to keep her away. This is a love I want. Quarry and Flint. I love those little bastards and oh god Flint, I cried at the end. I couldn't believe it. I'm so glad Eliza and Till got their happy ending. This story was so relatable and showing just what a beautiful heart Till had. The way he put his family first before himself and his fights. I'm so glad he won. Now it's Flint's turn to kick some ass. But LOL that random love interest with Flint threw me for a loop. Who knew!!???
