Review: The Best Goodbye

The Best Goodbye The Best Goodbye by Abbi Glines
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

So you guys know I have this love/hate thing with this series. I hate every single one of Abbi's characters except Rush since he got better as the series went along. Yes I'm looking at you Blair, Grant, Bethy, Harlow and Woods. They irritate the shit out of me. So I went into this sceptically because from the other books, Captain is an asshole. So color my ass shocked when I picked this up and finished it in one sitting. I COULD NOT PUT THIS DOWN. I loved everything about it. The story, although it was the same Abbi fashion with the mean girl bla bla schtick, and the characters. Yes you heard me. Addy and Captain were awesome. I loved Addy.. She wasn't a cry baby, she was strong, likeable and funny.. My only whelm with her was that she had some serious trust issues, but she overcame them. Now Captain, holy crap River was amaze balls. There is so much to that man. He might show the world he's a hard ass, but when he's with Addy and Franny, he's the most adorable person ever. Franny is too cute for words. I won't ruin this for you guys, just go read it. I hated that it was so short though.. I didn't want it to end.But yet those other dipshits got like three part books. This series was like frigging crack to me. I wanted to stop so many times, but they just kept dragging me in, except for Bethy. I didn't read her story for shit. Never liked her. Anyways, this was a fun, sexy story with lovable characters. This one will become a favourite of mine also. Now the final story is with Nan and hopefully Major. Will I read it? Maybe? I don't know, probably. I'm not interested in Nan, but I do love Major. Maybe when I'm all out of something to read I'll pick it up and see how that witch redeemed herself.
