The beginning of Hayden and Tenley's love. This book just basically starts with the obsession these two are starting to have with each other. It has me intrigued. The prequel. Not bad.

Some points I wasn't happy with: Callie ran into Caleb at the store and then he was arrested. I fell like not much justice was given there. I wanted Caleb to explain why he did all that crap. I wanted a better confrontation where Caleb would feel ashamed or at least more emotions, but it was handled too quickly and wishy washy. Another one was the death of Kayden's father. Wintr's Homecoming: Secrets by Jen A. Durand My rating: 3 of 5 stars Got this in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed this immensely. First off, Jinx is me. A mouthy, opinionated, brat that hates the world and everything in it, but will protect the ones I love. I was drawn to her immediately. She was hilarious and her banter with all the other characters were great. I didn't connect with her other two friends, so Nicole and Livia didn't intrigue me, but I am interested in her story with Sei. Anyways, this book has everything. It started out as a normal romantic comedy where I thought Nicole was the subject of this story, but all that changed when Jinx and Livia had to meet Nicole's fiance. Review: Love, Chocolate, and Beer

Love, Chocolate, and Beer by Violet Duke My rating: 4 of 5 stars So, this book came up in my Amazon recommendations and saw it had a bunch of good ratings and decided to check it out. Violet Duke has found a new fan in me. I really enjoyed this book. This is what true love is all about. I connected with Luke and Dani from the prequel and just fell in love with them. Their bickering and interplay were so funny. The sexual tension was so strong with these two. Even I was feeling what Luke was feeling on those five pre-dates. The 17 Valentines Day gifts Luke did for Dani was so damn romantic, I was "awwing" through the whole thing. The things Luke did for Dani....ack. I love him so much. Anyways let's get to the nitty gritty. So Dani did something really stupid in the prequel that followed her throughout this story.
