From my reviews you can totally see how insane I am about this series and how the ratings are going down but I still can't seem to stop reading. I'm going to be honest here, I'm still puzzled how this series is still getting such high ratings. It's shit. The story is shit and the characters are shit. Not one single likable person I found from this series,maybe Rush? I had Blaire and Woods, but they turned into idiots. Maybe except Jace, but he's swimming with the fishes. Heh, too soon? Then again maybe Woods, but "first book of the series" Woods, because in this story, the writer turned him into a pussy. But do I stop reading? No, because although it's a shit story it still reads like an addictive episode of Bold & The Beautiful, and you just want to know what's going to happen next. But this book was the worst. Where to start, I liked Grant from the very first book, (see a first book trend here? LOL) but reading this, he comes off as an insensitive jerk. I honestly felt like this story is written by a man and he's just catfishing us with the biography and photo. No woman would write a story like this. Grant fucks Nan and falls in love with her even though she is fucking the whole of Rosemary's Beach. He finally sees Harlow who is her half sister and then decides "hmm she's nicer than Nan, let's fuck with her too." Disgusting. Then there is Harlow, this punk ass weak bitch, who sees Grant's dick and is like "OMG I'm in love, I need more of it" Harlow sees he's screwing her evil sister. She HEARS them yet she still opens her legs and heart to this fucker. She listens to his sweet words and is like "awww he sprouts shit so that's okay." What female writer would write suck a weak heroine that puts up with all this shit? No woman goes to a man who sleeps with the evil sister a week before. Know what also makes this book more disgusting? The fact that Harlow might be dying and Grant finds a way to turn it all against her saying she should have told him and made her the villain. Dude if you would have just stopped thinking with your DICK and let her explain like YOU wanted her to listen, then maybe I would have given Grant a chance at being a likeable character. I shall be reading the sequel of this story just to see how this bullshit ends and then I'm done. I don't give a fuck about Tripp, Bethy or Nan, so if she does get a book, that can burn in the Kindle store. I refuse to read Tripp and Bethy because what the writer did to Jace was wrong, you should have let Bethy choose which guy she wanted or just leave them as fucking side characters. All these couples have been so toxic together they don't deserve to be couples. I don't even care if Nan stays around and fuck shit up at this point. She rightfully should. Make ém all suffer girl. I love a good NA book fill with angst, but this is asking too much. I'm done with this.

The Resolution of Callie & Kayden by Jessica Sorensen My rating: 3 of 5 stars Well they finally got their happy ending. These two went through so much shit before they got to this point. Some points I wasn't happy with: Callie ran into Caleb at the store and then he was arrested. I fell like not much justice was given there. I wanted Caleb to explain why he did all that crap. I wanted a better confrontation where Caleb would feel ashamed or at least more emotions, but it was handled too quickly and wishy washy. Another one was the death of Kayden's father. We as the reader didn't get much closure from that. He just immediately died, there wasn't much explanation as to how he ended up like that, no explanation from the father as to why he was the way he is, no sorry's, the mother was still a complete bitch and was with the father until the end. Love, Chocolate, and Beer by Violet Duke My rating: 4 of 5 stars So, this book came up in my Amazon recommendations and saw it had a bunch of good ratings and decided to check it out. Violet Duke has found a new fan in me. I really enjoyed this book. This is what true love is all about. I connected with Luke and Dani from the prequel and just fell in love with them. Their bickering and interplay were so funny. The sexual tension was so strong with these two. Even I was feeling what Luke was feeling on those five pre-dates. The 17 Valentines Day gifts Luke did for Dani was so damn romantic, I was "awwing" through the whole thing. The things Luke did for Dani....ack. I love him so much. Anyways let's get to the nitty gritty. So Dani did something really stupid in the prequel that followed her throughout this story.
