This wasn't as dark as everyone said it would be. Maybe I was ruined by all the other dark romances I have been reading lately that everything in here didn't phase me. I'll admit, this is definitely not a usual Tillie Cole read. Even her motorcycle stories seemed tame compare to this. Anyways, I immediately fell in love with 818 aka Raze aka Luka. I connected with him from the beginning and was rooting for him. Kisa, meh I hated this bitch. She was such a doormat. She put up with that abusive asshole Alik all because she thought she was the one who would keep him sane. Bitch, THE MAN WAS A SERIAL KILLER. The fucker killed everyone, tortured small animals, enjoys death and rapes you but no, just because she lost her soul mate or so she thought, she settled with that son of a bitch. Luka was a beautiful tortured soul. He was taken at a young age, raped and raised in an underground prison where they brainwashed him, trainer him to be a killer and made him fight to the death with other young boys to survive. He escapes his prison and only has one thing on his mind. Revenge. He makes his way to New York and finds the other half of his soul which is this idiot Kisa. As his memories return, he remembers the love he had for her and bla bla yadda yadda. Shit happens, people die and the truth of what happen the day Luka was taken is revealed. I enjoyed this story especially Luka. He was such a sad baby, I just wanted to hug him. Glad he got his happy ending. Kisa, meh fuck you bish. What you did at the end by going to your father, YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT FROM THE BEGINNING!!!

The Resolution of Callie & Kayden by Jessica Sorensen My rating: 3 of 5 stars Well they finally got their happy ending. These two went through so much shit before they got to this point. Some points I wasn't happy with: Callie ran into Caleb at the store and then he was arrested. I fell like not much justice was given there. I wanted Caleb to explain why he did all that crap. I wanted a better confrontation where Caleb would feel ashamed or at least more emotions, but it was handled too quickly and wishy washy. Another one was the death of Kayden's father. We as the reader didn't get much closure from that. He just immediately died, there wasn't much explanation as to how he ended up like that, no explanation from the father as to why he was the way he is, no sorry's, the mother was still a complete bitch and was with the father until the end. Love, Chocolate, and Beer by Violet Duke My rating: 4 of 5 stars So, this book came up in my Amazon recommendations and saw it had a bunch of good ratings and decided to check it out. Violet Duke has found a new fan in me. I really enjoyed this book. This is what true love is all about. I connected with Luke and Dani from the prequel and just fell in love with them. Their bickering and interplay were so funny. The sexual tension was so strong with these two. Even I was feeling what Luke was feeling on those five pre-dates. The 17 Valentines Day gifts Luke did for Dani was so damn romantic, I was "awwing" through the whole thing. The things Luke did for Dani....ack. I love him so much. Anyways let's get to the nitty gritty. So Dani did something really stupid in the prequel that followed her throughout this story.
