I liked but still hated this hated this book. What I liked : The story, the whole forbidden love thing and it was funny. The love scenes were done really well too. What I hate? Everything else. Allie was a fucking doormat and James was an asshole. This girl let her brother walk all over her, so a bunch of shit to her, sleep with her best friend, jerked off to her roommate and she was still like...."omg but I love him. I want his baby" Girl no. THEN the whole rubbing her belly because she was pregnant with his baby shit. That was so annoying every bloody time she repeated it. Like girl yes we get it, you are obsessed with your brother and having his damn demon spawn. Then to top it all off they came out as a couple, he's like I love you even though I'm an asshole and they live happily ever after. I hate when writers have weak ass heroines. They just turn me off from the books.

Wintr's Homecoming: Secrets by Jen A. Durand My rating: 3 of 5 stars Got this in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed this immensely. First off, Jinx is me. A mouthy, opinionated, brat that hates the world and everything in it, but will protect the ones I love. I was drawn to her immediately. She was hilarious and her banter with all the other characters were great. I didn't connect with her other two friends, so Nicole and Livia didn't intrigue me, but I am interested in her story with Sei. Anyways, this book has everything. It started out as a normal romantic comedy where I thought Nicole was the subject of this story, but all that changed when Jinx and Livia had to meet Nicole's fiance. Love, Chocolate, and Beer by Violet Duke My rating: 4 of 5 stars So, this book came up in my Amazon recommendations and saw it had a bunch of good ratings and decided to check it out. Violet Duke has found a new fan in me. I really enjoyed this book. This is what true love is all about. I connected with Luke and Dani from the prequel and just fell in love with them. Their bickering and interplay were so funny. The sexual tension was so strong with these two. Even I was feeling what Luke was feeling on those five pre-dates. The 17 Valentines Day gifts Luke did for Dani was so damn romantic, I was "awwing" through the whole thing. The things Luke did for Dani....ack. I love him so much. Anyways let's get to the nitty gritty. So Dani did something really stupid in the prequel that followed her throughout this story.
