So, I lost sleep over this book because it was that good. Nobody gets my favourite recluse of a writer's humor, but I do. I mean no one does romance like Shelly. She doesn't do the whole lovey dovey shit like other romances. I mean, yea you get the little sex scenes and romance, but with the story being so good and funny, you didn't really miss it. Well we got all the different plot stories with all the characters of this story. I liked Jace's cult story with her ex-husband. He was such an idiot, geez and the Protectors. Then we got the one with that idiot Goddess which is the original plot line. But for fuck's sake Shelly, give us names we can pronounce. Anyway, the side characters were hilarious. Bear who I believe is a freaking descendent of Bo Novak from the shifter series, the other Protectors, Erin and omg Annalissa. I need both of their books. Even Lev, Brodie and Salka had me cracking the hell up. Anyway Jace and Ski were awesome together. I especially liked Ski because he reminded me of Ricky Lee Reed. This isn't your usual romance, this is the "Hey asshole do you love me? Yes. Good!"romance that need to be in more movies. We got to see Kera and Vig again. Vig is still a lovable asshole as usual. The comedy was on point with the Crows and with Shelly's usual brutish bodily harm and rough comedy which I love. This was another great instalment to this series. I NEED AN ERIN BOOK!!!!! Put her with a Raven or a Protector.

The Resolution of Callie & Kayden by Jessica Sorensen My rating: 3 of 5 stars Well they finally got their happy ending. These two went through so much shit before they got to this point. Some points I wasn't happy with: Callie ran into Caleb at the store and then he was arrested. I fell like not much justice was given there. I wanted Caleb to explain why he did all that crap. I wanted a better confrontation where Caleb would feel ashamed or at least more emotions, but it was handled too quickly and wishy washy. Another one was the death of Kayden's father. We as the reader didn't get much closure from that. He just immediately died, there wasn't much explanation as to how he ended up like that, no explanation from the father as to why he was the way he is, no sorry's, the mother was still a complete bitch and was with the father until the end. Love, Chocolate, and Beer by Violet Duke My rating: 4 of 5 stars So, this book came up in my Amazon recommendations and saw it had a bunch of good ratings and decided to check it out. Violet Duke has found a new fan in me. I really enjoyed this book. This is what true love is all about. I connected with Luke and Dani from the prequel and just fell in love with them. Their bickering and interplay were so funny. The sexual tension was so strong with these two. Even I was feeling what Luke was feeling on those five pre-dates. The 17 Valentines Day gifts Luke did for Dani was so damn romantic, I was "awwing" through the whole thing. The things Luke did for Dani....ack. I love him so much. Anyways let's get to the nitty gritty. So Dani did something really stupid in the prequel that followed her throughout this story.
