True Blood "Thank You" Series Finale

I have finally decided to watch the series finale because I wasn't ready. I thought I would be deterred to tears when watching this. I have been a Truebie from the beginning and enjoyed all the characters (Not Tara, never liked her) I have dedicated seven years of my life to this show, giving up going out on a Sunday nights, waking up late for work because I was up waiting for this to start, etc. But when I finally finished this, I felt as if I was......robbed. I think it was just the fact that I had so much high hopes for the finale. First up, Alcide's end arc was BULLSHIT! Why did they end off his character like that? It was sudden and so damn disrespectful. They could have at least ended it with him and Sookie just being together in the end having wolf babies. That would still solve her family/happily ever after dilemma. Next up Tara's whole story line was stupid and dumb as shit. With all that suspense it was only to lead up to her not having the balls to kill her abusive asshole of a Dad and hiding the gun in the back yard. -_- I was hoping for something.....BETTER. Like money buried, a dead body, or even better, HER BODY IN THE BACK YARD BECAUSE SHE WAS WEAK AND WENT UNDERGROUND TO HEEL. SOMETHING!!!! Gah! Okay so with that off my chest, the finale also did have its high points. Jessica finally finding her way back to her true love and married Hoyte, which I don't think he deserved because he was such a dick with the whole Jason/Jessica thing before they took his memories, but yea I'm glad for her. Pam and Eric getting their happy ending was hilarious and entertaining. When he killed those Yakusi's was was rocking out in the car? CLASSIC! If anything had happened to my sarcastic Lesbian and hot Viking, I was going to flip shit. Glad they made it out alive and RICH!!! New Blood....hmmm I smell a Eric & Pam spin off comedy hour right there. Bill making Sookie end his life was kind of bittersweet. I mean they went through a lot with him. Meeting each other, falling in love, breaking up, getting back together, breaking up,  trying to rape her, beat her, kidnap her, you know, couples stuff. It was fitting and I might have shed a little tear but seriously Bill, you could have took the damn cure and just adopt with Sookie, not rocket science you know. I am EXCEPTIONALLY glad that Jason FINALLY got his happy ending. Man that was a long time coming. The man whore finally settled with another one of Hoyte's girls I might add and had three beautiful kids. YAY! I'm glad Jason is finally happy. He was my number one character on this show. Well besides La La of course. Speaking of which, my boo got his male vamp and Arlene got Keith :) I don't know how Sookie and Arlene always scoring the hot guys on this show. Sam and Nicole had theirs and their baby girl, Andy and Holly, hell even Sookie got her husband and baby, but we never see the husband's face and all the gang that were left got their happy endings too. It was great watching everyone finally happy. And that bitch Sarah? Tied up in the basement of Fangtasia getting her ass fed on while being haunted by Steve. Fitting. Well it has been a long journey with lots of up and down episodes but I still enjoyed them all. True Blood will be missed. #RIPTRUEBLOOD #Goodbyesucks #Truetotheend

The Resolution of Callie & Kayden by Jessica Sorensen My rating: 3 of 5 stars Well they finally got their happy ending. These two went through so much shit before they got to this point. Some points I wasn't happy with: Callie ran into Caleb at the store and then he was arrested. I fell like not much justice was given there. I wanted Caleb to explain why he did all that crap. I wanted a better confrontation where Caleb would feel ashamed or at least more emotions, but it was handled too quickly and wishy washy. Another one was the death of Kayden's father. We as the reader didn't get much closure from that. He just immediately died, there wasn't much explanation as to how he ended up like that, no explanation from the father as to why he was the way he is, no sorry's, the mother was still a complete bitch and was with the father until the end. Love, Chocolate, and Beer by Violet Duke My rating: 4 of 5 stars So, this book came up in my Amazon recommendations and saw it had a bunch of good ratings and decided to check it out. Violet Duke has found a new fan in me. I really enjoyed this book. This is what true love is all about. I connected with Luke and Dani from the prequel and just fell in love with them. Their bickering and interplay were so funny. The sexual tension was so strong with these two. Even I was feeling what Luke was feeling on those five pre-dates. The 17 Valentines Day gifts Luke did for Dani was so damn romantic, I was "awwing" through the whole thing. The things Luke did for Dani....ack. I love him so much. Anyways let's get to the nitty gritty. So Dani did something really stupid in the prequel that followed her throughout this story.
