Witches of East End "When a Mandragora Loves a Woman


So we are back to hunting the Mangdragora with out harming Ingrid. I think by now that girl is the weakest link and needs to be killed off. (just saying) Alex found some dirty ass potion that when injected into Ingrid's brain it would severe the connect of the mate bond. But or gals are on a time stamp. So while that's happening Freya is still raving mad at Fredrick and Wendy still basically hates his guts and wants to choke him with his intestines. There is a spell in the Grimmore that Dash has that might kill this thing, so Freya is entrusted with that duty to get it. She goes over and Dash basically looks at her like how Ted Bundy looks at his next victim, not good. Meanwhile Killian is hearing voices and freaking out, while his vindictive little house wife Ava is still being all shady. He realizes he can't hear her thoughts, but she blinds him with the magic of her cooch so that conversation is on the back burner for now. Ingrid and her alien mate went over to the library and attacked poor sweet Hudson. The female hunters found them and took him to be healed while Joanna and Alex fixed Ingrid. While old Freddy is there trying to help Hudson, Wendy explodes and basically runs him out of the room. Back at the library are hunters is playing Call Of Duty with the monster and lo and behold they get attack. Freya is over at Dash begging for the book and he's there talking and crazy and being a dick, you know, usual Dash speak. But this is more intense due to the fact that the Mandragora did something to him while having alien sex with his ears. Then we zip back to Ingrid being all weepy as usual feeling guilty about everything. Bleh. Then we see Ava bewitching Killian...again. This man has got the be the sexiest oblivious bastard I have ever seen. 
Dash is chasing Freya all over the house trying to kill her, I mean she had the anti-venom thing, instead of talking all over herself trying to reason with the mad man, why didn't she just STABBED HIM IN THE FACE??!! Now he's hell bent of killing her. Joanna and Alex wake up from the attack feeling fine, but it's then revealed that the Mandragora trapped them in the library never to be seen again, muahahahahaha, until the end of the episode that is. Dash and Freya are running around like two headless chickens until finally she tricks him and stabbed him in the head....yay (little pleasure there for me) He finally comes to his senses and helps her. Alex and Joanna are still trapped and going out of their minds. Alex is bitching and they bicker and bla bla....boring scene. 
Meanwhile, Wendy and the gang are fixing the spell to get rid of the Mandragora. Dash and Ingrid's interactions are so cute. Although he's a giant douche nozzle, I can totally see him with her. Back at Killian's little shack, Ava is basically killing him with sex. No wonder this man isn't really thinking clearly, I mean yea she's basically poisoning him, but if you keep putting Le Sex on a man every hour he's going to think you are the Queen. Some one needs to save him before his dick falls off.  So back with Wendy and the spell, great news it works, bad news? Got to set Ingrid on fire. Hell yea. If she moves she's burnt toast. (hahaha see what I did there?....no? -__-) So Wendy gets attacks by the Mandragora and Fredrick comes in and saves the day killing the thing and breaking all of its spells. We learn Ava's diabolical plan is to get a baby which hopefully we will learn why before the season is over. So now everybody is happy and thanking Fredrick *queue little pointless story fillers, Dash and Freya kinda making up, Alex and Joanna coming to a resolution and mature lesbian kissing * and we are all thinking "yes Freddy is one of us now" until we come to the end of the show and it turns out, FREDRICK CAN'T BE TRUSTED!! He's still working with Grandfather....dun dun dun!!!  Wendy was spot on all along but as you can see she's all on his side now. Until next time my friends.

The Resolution of Callie & Kayden by Jessica Sorensen My rating: 3 of 5 stars Well they finally got their happy ending. These two went through so much shit before they got to this point. Some points I wasn't happy with: Callie ran into Caleb at the store and then he was arrested. I fell like not much justice was given there. I wanted Caleb to explain why he did all that crap. I wanted a better confrontation where Caleb would feel ashamed or at least more emotions, but it was handled too quickly and wishy washy. Another one was the death of Kayden's father. We as the reader didn't get much closure from that. Love, Chocolate, and Beer by Violet Duke My rating: 4 of 5 stars So, this book came up in my Amazon recommendations and saw it had a bunch of good ratings and decided to check it out. Violet Duke has found a new fan in me. I really enjoyed this book. This is what true love is all about. I connected with Luke and Dani from the prequel and just fell in love with them. Their bickering and interplay were so funny. The sexual tension was so strong with these two. Even I was feeling what Luke was feeling on those five pre-dates. The 17 Valentines Day gifts Luke did for Dani was so damn romantic, I was "awwing" through the whole thing. The things Luke did for Dani....ack. I love him so much. Anyways let's get to the nitty gritty. So Dani did something really stupid in the prequel that followed her throughout this story.
