Gabriel's Inferno by Sylvain Reynard My rating: 1 of 5 stars DNF @ 68%. Yea I was into it at the beginning, but Julia man. I couldn't stand her. She was this whiny piece of shit of a girl. She cowers at everything but only foudn the balls when she finally lost her virginity, but then became even more annoyinh to me. Gabriel, yea I hated his from the beginnign but as the story progressed, he became pretty cool. Fall by Karina Bliss My rating: 2 of 5 stars Received this as an ARC for an honest review. This book was really boring and I didn't like Dimity at all. I only continued it because of Seth. Other than that it wasn't my cup of tea. This is part of a series so the whole thing with Zander kind of threw me because I didn't really know what was going on with the voice thing. What You Need by Lorelei James My rating: 3 of 5 stars This is the second book that I ever had to skimmed by Ms. James. So it's safe to say I do not like her doing New Adult romances. This story was plain and simply boring. I didn't connect with ANY of the characters. Nothing big happened in the story at all. Brady was way too perfect for my taste and Lennox just took everything into stride. The sex was non exsistent and usually Ms. James makes the HOTTEST sex scenes. I just can't with these new books she's doing. I'll finish out the rest of this series but I think I'll stick with her other cowboy series and Mastered series since the Mckays are over. Unattainable by Madeline Sheehan My rating: 3 of 5 stars So we got two stories with this one. Tegan and Cage and Ellie and Dirty aka Michael. So yea I hated Tegan and Cage. They are the less funnier version of Cox and Kami. I couldn't stand Tegan's self rightious ass and Cage was flighty as fuck. He didn't want her but when he found out she was with Z and he fucked her again, he then realized he loved her. And how the hell did she become his best friend? Ugh. Anyways, Ellie and Michael's story was great. Poor Dirty was so broken. I swore to God he was as old as Blue but damn Dirty was hot. I cried with Deuce. OMG I don't want to lose that old bastard. When he got that heartattack I was so scared!!!!! But R.I.P Blue, we went through a whole series with him just in the background drinking and sleeping and giving words of wisdom. Backstage Pass by Olivia Cunning My rating: 4 of 5 stars I loved this. OMG Brian, Brian was such an adorable baby. I loved him so much. He had this childlike, nauty quality to him that you couldn't help but love. His bandmates were awesome especially Trey. Poor baby loves Brian so much that I wished those two would have been together. I enjoyed how Brian loved with all his heart and was just a genuine person. Mryna, ugh hated the old crow. She was a bitch. She brought all of her insecurites into the relationship and kept breaking Brian's heart. He could have done so much better. I didn't like this chick up until the end, like the very 99% of the book. Jeremy was a hilarious villian especially the scene where he tells the cops Brian is him and he's Brian. Adrenaline: A Fall Away Series Bonus Content Collection by Penelope Douglas My rating: 5 of 5 stars LOL this was hilarious. I loved catching up with the guys and their kids. The tampon scenes were the best. I'm not feeling Quinn and Lucas but I'm sensing a pretty hot love triangle with Dylan, Hunter and Kade. I hope she ends up with the nice brother for a change, but I feel like Hunter might finally grow balls. I really hope PD does the spin off with the kids so we can revisit theri crazy ass parents. Aflame by Penelope Douglas My rating: 5 of 5 stars This was a beautiful ending to this series. I FINALLY, FINALLY fell in love with Jared Trent. I had such a hate for this asshole after every shit he put Tate through, but my gosh, listening to it from his POV here, I can finally understand where he was coming from. I loved how these two finally found their way back together. If you love someone, set them free. If it's meant to be, they will find their way back to you and Jared found his way back to Tate. Fuck her though for moving on and fucking those assholes. The wedding was beautiful and the epilogue had me in tears. I really do hope they do a spin off with the kids. Devil's Game by Joanna Wylde My rating: 5 of 5 stars This book was awesome. Hunter/Liam is EVERYTHING. This was a different take on the series, because it dealt with Emmy from Reaper's MC and her relationship with Hunter from Devil's Jack. They had this whole sexy Romeo and Juliet thing going on minus the dying at the end. I LOVED EVERTHING ABOUT HUNTER!!!!! He had the same cocky, alpha attitude like the other brothers, but he OWNED it. He wasn't and asshole. He was so sweet with Emmy. Even when he kidnapped her. Emmy was kick ass. Reaper's Legacy by Joanna Wylde My rating: 4 of 5 stars I liked this one. It wasn't as good as Horse and Marie but it was alright. I liked Ruger, well the middle of the book Ruger. Beginning Ruger was such an overbearing asshole. I mean I get sometimes when he shouted at Sophie, because throughout the book the woman was a giant prejudice bitch, but man was he harsh sometimes. Their son Noah was so adorable. I like the plot twist with Hunter and Emma. I was to see how that goes and how Painter is going to play a part in it. Didn't care for Sophie much. As I said she was a giant bitch, hated the club, but the same club came around and helped her in the end. Navarro was a dick from the beginning and only realised being a dick wouldn't get you the girl, but only towards the end he learned this lesson. I liked Mica from the start. Primal by Lora Leigh My rating: 3 of 5 stars Only read this for the Breed story. It was the usual story. Creed a Breed, went under cover to protect Philip Brandenmore's niece Kita. She later turned out to be his mate and they found more information that will help them ifgure out how to heal Amber or at least what's going on with her. Phillip escaped. I'm lost as to how that one happened. He just appeared at the house with henchmen, like wtf? Last I read he was rotting away in a cell. Anyways, pussies were licked, knots were swelled and teeth sank into flesh claiming mates. This story has been dragging out for a VERY long time. Touch of Darkness by Christina Dodd My rating: 3 of 5 stars Eh, I remember reading this book back when I was 16 and thought it was SO good. Rereading now at 26 and I'm thinking, what the hell was I thinking? The story just draggggedd. It wasn't that interesting but I did liked the humor. I didn't feel any real connection with Tasya and Rurik. It would have been fun if we got a little backstory of how they met and what not, but the writer just thrusted us into their relationship. Tasya is connected to the Varinski's but in a terrible way. The paranormal aspect of this story wasn't that great either. Inspiring You by Jessica Sorensen My rating: 3 of 5 stars Eh, I felt like we were robbed of an ending and this wasn't completed. This felt rushed. I'm glad Ayden and Lyric got thier happy ending, but it felt like the author was running out of time. The thing with his father was very anti-climatic, same with Sadie. Ugh and when they finally had sex, it was all that great like Ella and Micah. I was expecting mind blowing after all that seaxual tension from the other books. This one was way too short for me but I still enjoyed it. Raveling You by Jessica Sorensen My rating: 3 of 5 stars Not much happened in this one. Ayden and Lyric explore their relationship and came to terms that they ARE in one. Lyric is SO her father in this series and I love it. This story is basically a rewrite of her parents but with a cult and finally the female character being the strong one. Lyric overcame her fear of singing in public and Ayden is getting closere to unlocking his memories and finding his sister. I really do enjoy these two together though. Runaway Vampire by Lynsay Sands My rating: 4 of 5 stars This book was so funny. I liked Mary a lot. I see the female characters of Lynsay,'s books are finally getting a better handle on becoming Immortal. Mary took this like a champ and it cracked me up. I liked the banter between her and Dante especially that condom scene. Justin Bricker made his crazy cameo. I LOVE that guy. Stepbrother Hero: A Forbidden Military Romance by Krista Lakes My rating: 3 of 5 stars Well it was better than the first one, because this heroine kind of had a back bone than the first one, but it was still a dumb story. The whole Rachel thing was ridiculous and uncalled for. Ian was a giant pussy and Hayley needed to take a chill pill for her obsession with her step brother. These guys didn't grow up together, were only step siblings for three years, so I didn't know the issue these guys had of being together. The Resolution of Callie & Kayden by Jessica Sorensen My rating: 3 of 5 stars Well they finally got their happy ending. These two went through so much shit before they got to this point. Some points I wasn't happy with: Callie ran into Caleb at the store and then he was arrested. I fell like not much justice was given there. I wanted Caleb to explain why he did all that crap. I wanted a better confrontation where Caleb would feel ashamed or at least more emotions, but it was handled too quickly and wishy washy. Another one was the death of Kayden's father. We as the reader didn't get much closure from that. It was lightly better than the other one, I still cannot stand Violet, but man she can't catch a break. The secrets that were revealed about Preston, I saw coming which actually made me laugh at her. The Redemption of Callie & Kayden by Jessica Sorensen My rating: 3 of 5 stars I was very pissed off with this book. The characters just went about everything so wrong to the point they just dragged out the story. I think the only one who had their head on was Seth. The story dragged, it became frustrating and the parents were useless. It had its heartbreaking moments between Callie and Kayden, especially when they finally decided to be free. I'm intrigued by Luke. I really want to know what he's hiding. Also along the series I hope Caleb and Kayden's parents get what's coming to them. The Coincidence of Callie & Kayden by Jessica Sorensen My rating: 4 of 5 stars Holy shit I devoured this book. I enjoyed everything about it. I love forbidden love. But shit this was dark. I'm only pissed off because both of them didn't talk to ANYONE! This is basically another version of Ella and Micha but darker. That ending had me speechless and on the edge of my seat. I liked Callie, but she could have handled all this better by immediately telling someone. But I'm glad Kayden finally saved her at the end. Same goes for Kayden. If you like angsty, young adult fiction with sexual tension, heart breaking pasts and damaged teenagers, this is the book for you. The ending of this book is EXPLOSIVE. Inked Armour by Helena Hunting My rating: 5 of 5 stars This story was simply beautiful. This one was mostly focus on Hayden himself finally letting go of all the doubts and blames he put on himself. It was coming to terms with himself and also solving the murder of his parents, which by the way was one hell of a plot twist. *smile* This was also about Tenley letting go of her guilt and forgiving herself and coming to terms with what bad things that have ever happened between these two. It was about them both letting go and finding love with each other. I loved everyone in this story. It was funny and sexy. It made me laugh, cry, angry, but in the end this will be a book that will stick with you for a long time. The epic love story of these two was so tremulous and it almost gave you some doubts that they might not make it, but in the end they did. This isn't the end for them, it's only the beginning. Clipped Wings by Helena Hunting My rating: 5 of 5 stars Holy God, this book was DEEP. I don't know why but tattoos and piercings just do it for me and I hit the mother load with this book. It was sexy, erotic, passionate, funny...ugh!!! I could not put it down. These two broken people. Sigh....It was so addictive. I loved Tenley and Hayden. I connected with them instantly. This story was dark with some humorous sections. When I first started out, I was just meh....this is going o be another crap young adult shit because it came from Twilight fan fiction and I hate Twilight, but I'm glad I kept reading. Everything that Tenley and Hayden went through just made my heart hurt. I also enjoyed the the side characters. I'm totally in love with this series and can't wait to see what happens next. Bare Skin by J.M. Stone My rating: 3 of 5 stars Well some one was finally captured the whore and her name is Dani. This was a insta love type book. Calland finally got his soulmate, the misunderstanding could have been avoided if Dani had just spoken up and the babies are still hella cute. I love this whole family dynamic of this group. Skin Tight by J.M. Stone My rating: 4 of 5 stars Oh my goodness. I have never laughed so hard at a book death in my life like I did in this one. Victoria was NUTS! I dunno how Ian let that shit fly for so long, but shit that girl needed committing. But her death was HILARIOUS. Anyways, Leah got her happy ending with the tall delicious Ian. MMm...I love the men in these books. They are so hot and sexy. Again we had the hilarious gang that is the family, friends and can't forget dogs. Now Calland is up next. The Best Goodbye by Abbi Glines My rating: 5 of 5 stars So you guys know I have this love/hate thing with this series. I hate every single one of Abbi's characters except Rush since he got better as the series went along. Yes I'm looking at you Blair, Grant, Bethy, Harlow and Woods. They irritate the shit out of me.
